Fotor - Photo Editor, Designer App Reviews

This is one of my favorite photo editing apps. It delivers great results and is very intuitive, however the old interface seemed easier to use than v2.0 (not a fan of accordion navigation, but maybe I’m just averse to change). Also, I can’t remember, but didn’t the old version use the photo I was editing as the thumbnail for effects?

This app worked fine until I wanted to save and share it. Wouldn’t save and wouldn’t tell me why or what to fix so I had to share from the app. And then it wanted ALL my facebook information so that I could share the photo on Facebook. A photo editing app does NOT need your personal messages, friends lists, etc. SCAM

This a great application for the basic things. I like the price too!

I always used to use online editing software to edit my pictures but Fotor is great! I don’t need an Internet connection and the features it provides are endless. I can add layers, add filters, adjust the picture and all. I have only saved my pictures to my computer folder, I have’t uploaded online so I cannot say anything about that, but I have not found any problems in saving the pictures as I do.

I use this to edit almost all my blog photos. It allows me to quickly go in and adjust colour, contrast, clarity, tilt-shift and crop. You can also easily add simple effects and text. Great for quick edits.

I really love this app; it’s the only one I’ve tried and ended up keeping since I’ve had my Mac. I DO enjoy the new update, with the new filters especially. I gave this app a four star instead of a five because as awesome as it is, I think it can be even better! - a use of either layers, or the ability to add textures would be wonderful - More precise editing tools! I’d love to use this to edit familly portraits in a pinch, but with all the little cousins running around it’d be wonderful to have somethg to edit out zits etc - I would love to be able to change the size of the tilt shift. If you can I have no idea how I look forward to seeing more updates!

Easy to use, really handy. Great app.

This app is very simple, resize images, crop, basic colour fixes, text and premade effects. It’s no photoshop or anything, but its got the basics so your profile picture is super over exposed anymore. Or maybe you want all your instagram effects on your computer, they’re very similar.

This was very needed and was amazingly well done! It seems as if this is a brand new app even though I’ve been using it for months :) Great update and app, would recommend this to any photo-editing enthusiasts :)

Was looking for an app that could add text to an image. Found this one to help with a time constrained project. Glad I did. Good app that compliments my use of Aperture and iphoto as well.

I LOVE this app!! I use photo edit and collage every day for my blog photos. So easy to use all the features. Adding text is a snap, and when I cant decide which photo to post -- the collage feature makes it easy to use them all. If there was a paid version that did even more I would buy it without hesitation. :)

Fotor is so easy to use for anyone that’s not a expert on image manipulation. The fact that it’s free blows my mind. I would gladly pay for this app because it is one of the best out there.

Exellent FREE App! This program offers some of the tools for editing photos. It is a good program for people who are beginners because acts as a stepping stone for those who wish to learn or make simple changes to photos.

I really like this app! It is great for someone like me who is not a professional with photo editing to be able to make my pictures look really nice! I can’t believe it’s free because I would gladly pay for this.

I have been using Fotor professionaly for a few years because its filters were THAT good. But version 3 eliminated many, including their best filters—a case of fixing what isn’t broken. Fotor is now in the dustbin.

The older version worked great and was easy to use, I recommended it many times. This new version is unstable and crashes what ever they did to "update and make it better" needs to be looked at and redone I believe as the crash report indicates clearly that it wont work on OSX Lion 10.7.5 as the last one did although it says that it will work. To the Fotor team I know you can do better please do and I will be recommending this once again.
