Kind of useless if I can’t export the photo, huh?
I’m using Fotor for the 3rd time, so I’ve had some successes with it previously. However, tonight I added text to my photo and every time I export the photo to a folder the file it exports has no data in it. It’s an empty file. It’s named properly, it simply has 0 bytes in it. And to be honest, I really don’t want to lose this photo, nor do I want to start over again. There’s no “save project” option, so at this point I’m pretty much S.O.L. That’s why I’m writing this review and rating this with 1 star.
The application does not do what it says it does.
If there was a “save project” option, or equivalent, I probably would have given it 2 stars until this problem was resolved.
UPDATE:
The latest update (Feb. 15, 2016) fixed the export issue. I added text and the photo exported just fine.
There is still no “save project” option, so it’s all or nothing when it comes to creating a project. The user has to create the entire project all at once, or lose work if the application has to be shut down for some reason.
I gave this application 4 out of 5 stars. However, if it becomes such an issue that I can’t save my progress I may re-rate down to 3 stars because, honestly, I feel that’s where it should be.
