I have been using and loving this app, especially to add text/watermark to my photos. Now……..it freezes up. I’ve restarted my MAC, uninstalled and reinstalled and it still freezes when I go to export. UGH!! Hopefully an update may be available soon??

Until the upgrade, now it crash, click here to start do not work I have to open on the edit menu, crop is not working. From a great free product to an average free app.

I’ve been using this app for a year and lately it crashes every time I want to use it. I don’t know what has happened but I can’t even use it now.

i got the app and i went into it and i cant press any of the buttons. they simply dont work

Running a MacBook Pro 10.11.1 with multiple crashes caused me to delete this once useful editing app. It had potential as my #1 collage maker and batch editor, sorry to see it go

I used to like this app. However, after updating my OS to El Captain 10.11.2, the app no longer exports any images, crashing when you try to do it and rendering the application useless. I hope the authors fix it, soon — if they do, I will raise my rating but for now, it’s two stars (it could be just one, but I will give the creators the benefit of the doubt and believe they are working on a fix).

It’s ok - I got it cause I don’t wanna pay for the rest of my life for Photoshop. Figured it would be a good editing software for my hobby, but while I can get decent edits out of it and its teaching me how to edit, if I have changed a photo, exported it then go back to the home loc, it will crash every time. I get it, its free so of course it’s not gonna be seamless, but crashing everytime you want to goto a new picture is ridiculous. Did it prior to 10.11.2 and still does it. When I am able to, I’m gonna get Affinity Pro and get rid of this.

I really like this app for collages and sharing with family and friends. Im not looking to make masterpieces like others whove reviewed some of its limitations, which Im okay with. I would love to continue using it but cant because it no longer works with my old computer. I get a message saying that it is corrupt and I need to delete it and download again which is a challenge cause the new update is for 64 bit processors. For this reason I gave it 4 Stars otherwise it would be a 5 Star.

Barely does anything more than the built-in editor in the Photos app, and does it with a much more clumsy interface.

Not nearly as powerfull or usefull as most any free online editers which means its a waste of HD space,

I never write reviews on Apps, but this App deserves it !! Not only is it free, but it has so many features to allow the user to edit and make an ‘okay’ photo into a beautiful one. Having used many different paid photo editing Apps and not having all the desired tools to edit with (or very difficult to figure out), this is a winner because I can do just about everything i need to, and it works great on my mid 2011 Macbook Pro. I sell my artwork online and want the ‘Best’ possible picture to showcase my work and this app is my go to when I edit my photos. I have had this app for a couple years now and have never had any problems with it crashing (luck?)…anyways, I highly recommend this one!

The ads are minor and out of the way, I’m impressed with the functionality included in this free app, with no additional purchases required (as far as I have seen). The resolution of the images is suitable for very good printing. Overall, very pleased

This is one of the best photo editing tools I’ve ever found. I was looking for an app to create pictures for an eCard. I like that you can add borders and text to the photos. The only thing I felt it was missing is the ability to copy & paste areas of the picture so as to remove unwanted elements. But other that that, this was exactly the app I was looking for. Compliments to the developer.

I’m using Fotor for the 3rd time, so I’ve had some successes with it previously. However, tonight I added text to my photo and every time I export the photo to a folder the file it exports has no data in it. It’s an empty file. It’s named properly, it simply has 0 bytes in it. And to be honest, I really don’t want to lose this photo, nor do I want to start over again. There’s no “save project” option, so at this point I’m pretty much S.O.L. That’s why I’m writing this review and rating this with 1 star. The application does not do what it says it does. If there was a “save project” option, or equivalent, I probably would have given it 2 stars until this problem was resolved. UPDATE: The latest update (Feb. 15, 2016) fixed the export issue. I added text and the photo exported just fine. There is still no “save project” option, so it’s all or nothing when it comes to creating a project. The user has to create the entire project all at once, or lose work if the application has to be shut down for some reason. I gave this application 4 out of 5 stars. However, if it becomes such an issue that I can’t save my progress I may re-rate down to 3 stars because, honestly, I feel that’s where it should be.

The editing process has been ruined by this freakin update. Hate the new way you control the f-stop. It looks like crap now and I can’t copy and paste file names anymore, so I have to type out 20 character long names because that’s what I’m required to do for work. The smaller font makes it harder to read. My pics look pixely in the editing process now, which never happened with this app until the update. Because of this update, my editing time has tripled. So I guess I’l have to find a new one. This was my favorite app. I told everyone to use it. Now, it isn’t any different than the other editing apps.

Whatever you guys did, I can’t use this app anymore. Nothing opens when I open the application. Nice work.

Since the most recent update, I am unable to reposition text. Dumb.

Fotor used to be my go-to app for editing. It was user friendly and offered creative preset filters, and great text options. Recently, I wanted to apply a few touch ups to some photos and uploaded the photos into Fotor. Every single photo was pixelated before I even made adjustments! I exited out of the program to look at the original photo just to make sure I was not seeing things, but indeed- the minute you upload your photo into the program to for edits, it’s pixelated. I checked the presets to see if there were changes there and sure enough, all of the beautiful and creative presets were gone. I am really shocked and disappointed, wish I could somehow go back to the original Fotor (2.0, I think)? I did not want to go to photoshop for all of my photography editing needs, but it appears I will have to, even for quick edits. Really heartbroken :(

I have used this app alot an found no problem with it. I loved how the update added more borders and stuff like that. I can export fine, move the text fine, and pretty much everything else. I love this app even though everyone is hating on it. The not being able to save the photo works fine for me, even thought it would be nice if you could. But seriously, how long does it take to edit a photo. :) I LOVE this app.
